Kim and Sean Engagement Shoot in Cambridge Ontario

Kim and Sean are now friends of mine and a great couple, so it was a special honour to be given the role of being their official photographer for their upcoming Wedding in Jamaica in November this year.

These days it’s normal to do an engagemen

t photo shoot before the actual wedding day. This is something I offer for free in my wedding packages as I feel it’s a great way for us all to bond, and in this case, allows Kim and Sean to get used to me pointing a camera at them over and over. :)

Cambridge Ontario was chosen as it has some fun locations ideal for a shoot. After enjoying a gourmet lunch prepared by Sean, my assistant Helen and I took the happy couple out and started snapping.

For this shoot I used a medium format Contax 645 combined with it’s Zeiss 80mm f2.0 and 140mm f2.8 lenses. Film stock was Fuji 160S 220

Kim was a little camera shy at first but soon got in the swing of things.

The weather was a little overcast, but it was still warm enough to sample the tasty local ice cream.

Thanks for the fun time guys, I really enjoyed it. I can’t wait to shoot you again in Montego Bay!

Stay tuned for more pictures in December…

Kevin was a pleasure to work with. I was a bit shy with the camera but by the end I got the swing of it and Kevin was able to get the perfect shots of us. We also shared many laughs trying to get just the right pose! I can’t wait until our wedding in Jamaica, I’m sure Kevin will do a fantastic job of our special day. We would definitely recommend Kevin’s photography services for capturing your special events.
